Studio Photography

I wanted to see how well natural sourced light will work for this project. Unfortunately I wasn't pleased with the outcome. Although most of the pictures weren't great I got some inspiration in terms of the set ups of the shots. I tried to drop coins on the set up to get some high shutter speed shot but, unfortunately the light wasn't strong enough. Those are some of the shot I have gotten from this test.

I really like the background setup choice. It matches the colours used on the the playing cards really well. The choice of using Black and White made this picture that much better. I also like the props used in it. I really like the light setup used here.

Product Photography Who is the client, or company you are representing? The company I will represent is Ellusionist. What is the product? The product is a deck of playing cards which look nicer than a simple deck of playing cards which will make them stand out. Although the cards look better they can still be used by both poker players and magicians. Who is the target audience? The targeted audience are anyone who is looking for a simplistic, yet classy looking playing cards. People such as: poker players, magicians and people who do cardistry. Where would you expect to see this advertisement? I expect to see this on websites such as  https://www.ellusionist.com , poker supplying websites and Social Media Adds. What kind of lighting are you going to use to make this look professional?  /  What props do you need? For those photos I will be playing around with different lighting setups such as over the top lights, 45 degree ligh...

Today I learned how to use multiply lights at once. I got to understand how to set them up and take a very clear, nice studio image. I'm very pleased with this image as the smile is natural. I shot this image with a ration of 8.1 / 3 stop difference. Camera settings: 100 ISO, 1/125, f11.

The shadow made the picture moody which is why I chose this picture. I liked how I caught the moment with this group. I like how well exposed this is and how it has close to no shadows in it. I chose this picture because of her face expression.

First Image I really like this picture because Eddie, the model, done such a rapper pose in the picture. Second Image I like how well exposed this image is. And Fineas smiling is a bonus. Third Image This image has a very different mood due to the models face expression which drags my attention to the image.
